Not the best of times, but on cool nights when it rained, it was a comforting sensation like no other to be laid out in the back seat with a pillow and blanket. The various strength of rain heard on the roof of my car. One of the best feelings I’ve personally experienced.

I use to fall asleep to this sound when I was homeless living out of my van. I had nowhere to go. The rain hitting the car was very soothing for me, on a strange level. I thought I was confined and hopeless. I'm still working hard to achieve financial stability. I will fall asleep to this tonight, in my bed, as a reminder of where I was one year ago.
